Chapter 5 The Last Of Us

Well this could have gone better first we find a key, then we get the last one of us up here the next minute. "Just great." I muttered apparently to loud because Simon heard me. "Hey, just be lucky that your not her this time." He said whispering to me and well that shut me right up "Good now don't speak up so Applejack doesn't make an example out of you." he finished

I walked away after a few minutes and decided to go to the woods a nice secluded place where it would be hard to find me. And when I sat down behind a large redwood tree and started to write again in my journal.

"Things have not been normal since I arrived here, or so I thought now the last one of us has been sent up and she is definitely ready to kill any of us." I wrote in the journal I kept in my saddle bag "So you ready to help now Diamond?" Twilight asked "Yeah." I said as calmly as possible even though I just had a heart attack from Twilight's arrival "Then let's get a move on Applejack wants that new Greenie down here now." Twilight said starting to walk back "Okay." I said walking with her "I wonder how much stronger she could have been with out being in here just having levitation and illumination except for the few trump cards the others have." I thought "So how'd you find me?" I then asked "Well I saw you walk into the woods and I had Dash fly above you." Twilight said walking ahead

"So why do you write in that journal it's no use you will just run out of paper in the end." Twi said sounding slightly annoyed "Its just I feel like venting to something without wasting somepony else's time." I said looking down "Thats why we have a medicinal building with a few psychologists including myself." Twi said "Here we go again I've heard this same lecture from her three times already." I thought mentally groaning "Twilight please don't lecture me on venting my thoughts to somepony and not a book." I pleaded as Rainbow grabbed me and brought me to where everypony else was "She said your name get her down Greenie." Dash said putting me down in front of the tree house "Some brave trotter she is." I mumbled beginning to ascend the ladder. As I got up there I was met with a machete to my muzzle from the new white mare who'd arrived only yesterday.

"Can you please put the machete down i just want to talk?" I asked as she held it strong still. "I'm alone don't worry." I said taking the weapon in my magic and slowly moving it towards me to conceal it "Where am I?" The new Greenie said "Your in the Glade and my name's Diamond Seeds, can you remember your's yet?" I asked I could sense the tension between us "My name is Vanilla Twist, why can't I remember anything else?" She asked coldly "Don't worry I was here just before you I understand but your a Pegasus so the unicorn handicaps don't apply to you either." I said trying to sound as calm as possible

"Hey is she coming down!" Gray asked "Hold on a minute I'll have her down in no time!" I said as the crowd dissipated as fast as it had been created "What do you mean 'Unicorn Handicap'?" Vanilla asked pulling me back. "This means that unicorns like myself are only able to use levitation and illumination." I said not giving her the full story. "and I also remember that I'm half Changeling too they let me keep that." She said before looking at me while I was looking for something in my saddle bags.

"What are you looking for?" Vanilla asked cocking her head to get a better look as I pulled the two vials from yesterday out "these. They were with you when you came u." I said holding one in my magic and after looking closely I saw a series of letters and numbers 'GPA-025' "GPA what that stand for?" I asked looking at Vanilla who shrugged "Heck if i  knows." She said flying up a bit

"Where are you going?" I asked looking at her "I want to take a nap." Vanilla said sounding more like a childish whine to me "Alright I set up a bunk for you last night. It's right above mine." I said as she flew away, I then walked down to Gray, Pandora, Petal, and Snow Cone

"So how'd it go Diamond.?" Petal asked me once I was on the ground "It was good, she's more calm and accepting of being here." I said smiling "Well she certainly changed her attitude about being here." Petal said noticing the vials And so did the others "What are those?" Pandora asked me taking one and observing it

"I have no idea Pandora they were with Vanilla when she came up on the lift." I said and boy I sounded dumb "Well it's syringical shape means it could possibly be an antidote or medicine." Petal said and well I forgot she worked in the medicinal area to. "Well why don't we use it on Shockwave you know since he's been stung and all by that Greiver, Diamond killed the other day." Snow said and I didn't kill the Greiver it was just coincidence that the wall was closing and I taunted it to follow and get flattened.

But was I going to admit that no. "How about this I'll get Applejack down to the med bay and I'll have you, Fluttershy, Magni, and Winter, then we can test this out on him." Petal said smiling but it quickly faded as I said something "So he's our test subject then, so we just have to hope for the best that Applejack is going to allow this?" I said a Pandora looked at me as if I were a filly

"Well she really doesn't have a say in the matter with this because she is losing power and your rising up Diamond." Pandora said  smirking and I could tell that she wanted Applejack away from that position. "Shes shot down everything I've decided to do or have done Pandora this isn't going to go well with her." I said and to be honest I might be wrong this time.

"Well Diamond bring the vials after sundown. Weary need to let Shockwave have the sirum go through his system first and then we will check in the morning." Petal said walking away "Well Diamond let's get back to work." Snow said as Pandora walked away as well

"So what are we doing today?" I asked walking with Snow "Well we are tending to the crops today." she said with a small sense of glee hidden in her voice "Alright let's get to it then." I said and I didn't know where the garden was but at least we had a resuppliable food source. "So what do you guys grow?" I asked as we arrived at the garden

"Well we grow tomatoes, potatoes, some herbs, cucumbers, broccoli, lettuce, and in the trees we have apples galore. Applejack makes the best cider you could imagine." Snow said making it sound like she really wanted a pint of it. She gave me the tools and showed me what to do. "So how have you been holding up lately Diamond?" Snow asked after a good bit of silence

"I'm doing fine but I can't wait to test the serum we found and possibly cure Shockwave." I said sounding happy as I threw a rotten tomato away

*later*

We finished tending the garden and it was pretty late but we had dinner for tonight anyways both Snow and I had baskets full of fresh fruits and vegetables. "So who is the main cook around here?" I asked and I didnt know who even cooked here. "Well the cooks are Flame, Petal, Applejack, and Pinkie." Snow said as we walked towards the fire pit where they were gathered and starting to prepare it.

"So, I hear you want to try something with those vials you found Diamond." Applejack said sounding not missed off at me for once "Well yeah, I mean we could possibly cure and heal Shockwave." I said almost amazed that Applejack wasn't shooting my idea down.

"But if he dies its on you Diamond got that?" She asked and of course there was a catch in all of this for not shooting my idea down "Okay Applejack after dinner let's get right to it." I said mentally groaning at what she did "Alright let's get cooking." Petal said breaking the silence and taking the baskets of fruits and vegetables from Snow and I.

We took an hour to make, eat, and clean everything up and it wasn't much to be honest. "Now let's go to the medical area and test out this serum Diamond." Applejack said the others were waiting and they were holding Shockwave down and he was thrashing around like he was insane. We heard a scream and ran over there "Hold him down!" Petal screamed holding his fore leg "Keep him still!" Winter then said and when we saw Fluttershy she was cowering in a corner and I didn't blame her

I held the syringe  and I couldn't get a open shot at Shockwaves neck, he ended up getting his hoof that Magni was holding out and knocked me out and before everything went black Vanilla flew in a injected the syringe into his neck and then darkness overtook me
